Reading Activity Ruma Whitu
Our reading group read a story about how to create a bird-friendly garden. We looked how to make a bird feeder. Today we melted some fat/ lard and stirred some bird seed into it. We pushed the seed mixture into the spaces in the cones. We tied string on to pinecones so the feeders could be hung in a tree.

I loved it, it was cool. I hung it up in the elm tree I can see it from my lounge. (Oscar)
